the challenge

Good Hope Tutoring Services was stitching together spreadsheets, scheduling tools, payment processors, video apps, and payroll. They needed one platform to run the business from first contact to final payout — across direct-to-family lessons, institutional Title I programs, and a vetted tutor marketplace.

Our Solution

We built Hope, an all-in-one tutoring operating system: four role-based experiences (admin, tutor, parent, student), VideoSDK classrooms, Stripe credit wallets, a 5-stage tutor hiring funnel with background checks, institutional program management, and a payroll engine that turns hours into Excel/PDF payouts.

We stay on retainer. The ops team reports live issues — payroll math, onboarding lockouts, contract PDFs — and we ship into the same system they use every day.

The results
  • Live daily production at app.goodhopetutoring.com, used by a ~6-person admin/ops team plus tutors and families.
  • One platform replaced 5+ disconnected tools: lessons, live video, Stripe wallets, tutor hiring, compliance, and payroll.
  • Powers D2C credit-wallet lessons, B2B/B2G institutional programs including Title I, and unified tutor payroll.
Hope replaced the spreadsheet-and-tools stack. Families, tutors, live classrooms, payroll, and Title I programs now run in one system — and Unseen Engine stays on so it keeps matching the business we run.
